The History of Raising the Roof

Over the past five years, we (the members of Holy Cross) have been engaged in a very thorough process to discern God’s vision for our congregation. Facilities and Needs Assessments, a Feasibility Study, and significant input from parish members have made it clear that we will better serve our mission and ministry at Holy Cross by expanding and enhancing our facilities.

In fall of 2007, we completed a capital stewardship campaign, entitled Raising the Roof, to pay for our building project. As we announced on Celebration Sunday (16-Dec-2007), we have exceeded our highest goal (the “Celebration Goal”) of $1.5 million by raising pledges of $1.7 million! This amount will give us some flexibility in building and long term planning for our facilities. Thank you for your participation in this exciting time in the life of Holy Cross!
